NAJA launches student project website

TEMPE, Ariz. -- The Native American Journalists Association has launched a student project website showcasing the work of 2013 NAJA Project Phoenix and Native Voices students.

During their intensive week-long training, students have learned to write, edit, shoot, record and produced news packages for print and broadcast. Project mentors have overseen their work and provided hands-on training in multimedia journalism.

The students' work includes coverage surrounding the 2013 National Native Media Conference as well as local news, features, highlights and attendee information.

The Native Voice website was designed by NAJA student mentor Eugene Tapahe.
