March 21st, 2014 All Day - April 30th, 2014
The Native American Journalists Association offers student scholarships and programs as part of our commitment to raising the next generation storytellers.

Project Phoenix for high school students and Native Voices for college students have become two of the organization's most important annual programs as they help introduce students to the field of journalism and prepare them for the nation's newsrooms.

Apply for Project Phoenix

Students will work on stories under the guidance of mentors who are current professional journalists. Stories produced by students during the conference will be published by NAJA. High school and college students interested in writing, photography, videography, design, radio and online media are encouraged to apply.
