Become a NAJA Student Projects Mentor

Apply to become a 2014 NAJA student projects mentor. Applications are due April 30.

Want to host a 2014-2015 Native American Journalism Fellow at your internship?

NAJA introduced a one-year pilot program for selected Native Voices participants who desire additional journalism training and mentoring. The Native American Journalism Fellowship (NAJF) is a partnership between NAJA and the Newseum Institute.

This innovative opportunity involves multimedia training, webinars and ongoing mentoring, plus guidance in applying for existing internship opportunities in tribal and mainstream media.

Ten participants will be selected for Native Voices and notified by May 15. Of these 10 students, those who indicated an interest in consideration of the pilot project will automatically be accepted into the NAJF program.

Complete the online form with more information about your internship program. NAJA will contact you with more information about your needs as a newsroom or organization and how our NAJ Fellows can enhance your media program.
