Main Duties:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. • Assist station efforts with data analysis, interpretation and sales application of syndicated research resources including Nielsen, Marshall Marketing, Wide Orbit Media Sales, as well as online resources. • Provide custom qualitative support for generic and client specific presentations, create and distribute sales materials and corporate reporting documents, assist broadcast stations and online assets in providing and interpreting data, have the opportunity to get involved in primary research projects and other duties as assigned. • Ideal candidate will be energetic, self motivated, punctual, and have regular and consistent attendance. • Must be an analytical thinker, detail oriented, strong mathematical skills. • Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative research. • Proficient with industry software: Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and Power Point) • Broadcast research experiences a plus. • Reports directly to the General Sales Manager and will perform administrative duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge:
Required Experience:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree from four-year College or university; minimum 2 years experience in advertising; agency buying or media sales research, preferred broadcast and new media background. Minimum 2 years experience in consumer marketing and/or category specific marketing/sales research and analysis. Advanced education will substitute for experience.
