WASHINGTON, DC — The International Women’s Media Foundation has launched a survey in partnership with the International News Safety Institute to assess the risks that women journalists face in their work.
This is the first effort to collect data about challenges for women journalists on a global scale. The findings will be used to raise awareness about unique threats to women in media and to shape IWMF programming to better prepare women to report the news.
The survey will take 15 minutes to complete and can be found here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/INSI-survey. Currently, it is only in English, but we do plan to conduct the survey in different languages in the future, however responses from all countries are encouraged.
The deadline to submit responses is Sept. 20, 2013.
