Violence against American Indian women and men seminar set for June 23

On Thursday, June 23, NIJ Director Nancy Rodriguez, Ph.D., will moderate a Research for the Real World seminar with Dr. André Rosay, who will present on a national, large-scale survey that examined violence and victimization against American Indian and Alaska Native women and men. Research results are expected to improve awareness and understanding of violence experienced by American Indian and Alaska Native victims of crime.

Three additional panelists will discuss policy and practice implications of the study and highlight the need for additional services:
