NPR Visual Storytelling Workshop - July 9

July 9th, 2015 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM

This session with NPR photographer, multimedia producer and NAJA member John Poole takes attendees out into D.C. for hands-on photo training. The workshop will focus on editorial photography for mobile phones – from conceptualizing and shooting to editing, toning and publishing. Though we’ll be using mobile phones, we’ll talk about the editorial, aesthetic and technical aspects of photography in ways that can be translated to any format or platform. (For this training, we are only supporting iOS and Android phones and participants must have their own phones. The maximum number of participants is 10.)

Application in advance is required. All interested parties must send an email with your full name, media organization, job title and cell phone number to [email protected]

In the email’s subject line, please include NPR Visual Workshop.

Include up to three links that best illustrates your work and a brief bio with career goals (maximum 500 words). No attachments please. Applicants will be competitively selected for a limited number of spaces.
