Deadlines extended: 2015 National Native Media Conference early-bird registration and media awards

May 6th, 2015 All Day - May 15th, 2015

The Native American Journalists Association has extended the early-bird registration deadline for the 2015 National Native Media Conference through May 15. Join NAJA members, partners, sponsors and students in Washington, D.C., July 9-12 at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City for the premier Native media event of 2015 and "Empower Your Story." Early-bird rates start at just $225 for NAJA members and include a ticket to the 2015 National Native Media Awards Banquet.

All attendees can register for day-long, pre-conference tracks focused on building digital media strategies with sessions on media pitching and branding geared toward public relations and communications professionals working with Native media. For journalists and media producers covering Indian Country, NPR will host in-depth sessions on audio and visual storytelling. Whether you're a seasoned journalist, student or communications / PR pro, the 31st annual conference will deliver the exclusive insight, skill-building and connections valuable to any media professional working in Indian Country.

NAJA has also extended the submission deadline for the 2015 National Native Media Awards through May 11. Participants must be NAJA members (Native or non-Native) to submit entries.
