Knight-CUNYJ Summer Internship Program application deadline Feb. 16

January 16th, 2015 All Day - February 16th, 2015

Through generous support from the Knight Foundation, the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism will host a summer diversity program, which is actively recruiting for the Class of Summer 2015.

The KNIGHT-CUNYJ Summer Internship Program seeks to bring 20 aspiring journalists to New York City. CUNY will cover transportation costs and on-campus housing in Harlem for the two months the program is in session. Students will receive training from faculty and participate in paid media internships that the university will help them secure.

To be eligible to apply, candidates must have attended historically black colleges, Hispanic-serving institutions or be members of a journalist of color organization, including NAJA.

The top five performers will be offered free tuition to study for their master’s degree at CUNY.
