- Main Duties:
- WCSC Television is seeking a Research Director to partner with sales staff and lead research efforts that will assist and support our on air and digital sales efforts. Candidate will also assist sales staff and be the liaison on special projects and station initiatives. Individual must maintain a solid understanding of television ratings, research techniques and methodology; assure that research reporting is consistent, clear, accurate, relevant, insightful and timely. Responsibilities include preparing on-going analysis of television ratings, market audiences and translating data into effective presentations to assist in developing marketing & sales strategies for the station. Successful candidate must have the ability to interface with multiple internal constituencies (Sales Management, News and Marketing) to act as lead in securing input and approvals for business opportunities and special sales promotions/projects. Applicant should be an excellent communicator, creative thinker and posses strong computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft products with special emphasis on PowerPoint.
