WMBF-TV, Raycom's HD NBC affiliate in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, is looking for a Marketing Director who will guide a six-person department and manage all on-air, web and other station promotions as well as commercial production efforts. The Marketing Director will develop and implement strategic plans to ensure continued growth for the station's on-air, online and mobile products. The candidate must be able to shoot, write, and edit image and topical promos and implement other station marketing efforts while operating in an HD, non-linear environment. The successful candidate must be able to coordinate strategy and devise and schedule station marketing activities in coordination with news, sales, and traffic. WMBF needs a marketing director who will achieve branding objectives; manage details of on-air, sales, and community promotional campaigns; work on tight deadlines to meet station goals; demonstrate sound organizational skills and a strong sense of pacing, graphic design, music, and sound. Prior TV marketing management required and a college degree preferred. JOB DESCRIPTION
Full time responsibilities include write, shoot, and produce daily news topicals, promos, public service announcements, internet, and special sales projects. Coordinate video, audio, and graphic elements. Produce print ads, and animations for news and promotions.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Must be a creative, organized, detail oriented person who enjoys working with others and be able to think quickly to any situation. The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines is desired.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree from four year college or university and two years related experience and/or training is preferred. Have a working knowledge of: Non-Linear Editing, Graphic Design, Field/Studio camera and lighting, field equipment, After effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Lifting 50 pounds. Requires to sit for long periods of time, climb, balance, stoop, and kneel. Must have valid Texas drivers license and be insurable.

Proficient with EXCEL, WORD, WINDOWS, and ADOBE Software. Must be detail oriented and possess good organizational skills. Must have valid drivers’ license and be insurable.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
